For prospective therapy clients

Please read the following before requesting an intake appointment:

• I meet with clients for a minimum of 75 minutes biweekly and my session fee is $300/50 minutes, which is $450/75 minutes. My hourly fee for meeting on weekends is higher. Please see my intensives page.

• I do not accept insurance and I do not send superbills to clients. My services are entirely private pay, out of pocket.

• I videotape all of my sessions. It is fundamental to how I work and your treatment. If you are not comfortable with this, do not book an intake appointment with me. If you are curious about why I do this, please read my specialty page on Deliberate Practice and Feedback Informed Treatment.

• You and your partner/family member(s) need to be physically located in the states of Washington or Utah. For couples therapy, you and your partner must be physically located in the same room, with privacy and no interruptions. If you have young children needing supervision, childcare must be in place.

• For family/couple therapy appointments, all parties must attend.

• I have a strict cancellation policy of 4 “free” cancellations per calendar year. Any additional beyond that for any reason will be paid. I hold a spot on my calendar for every client and typically cannot fill it, even with advanced notice. You will be paying for your spot if you cannot find a reschedule time. Please know that I am quite busy generally, so do not bank on being able to reschedule appointments. Assume you will be paying my appointment fee.

• When you request an intake appointment, please include your partner’s first and last name and email address, so that I can send you and your partner intake documents to be completed within 48 hours of your acceptance of your request. I will confirm your appointment upon receipt of documents. I do not hold appointments without all documents on file completed.
